These systems are ideal for the rapid screening of samples from microtiter plates. Analyze high numbers of cloning products, restriction fragments, synthetic oligonucleotides or PCR† products simultaneously. The microtiter format allows multichannel pipetting for accuracy and speed with additional savings in expensive reagents.

For operator safety, the power leads are permanently attached to the interlocking safety cover. Easy-off push tabs on either side of safety cover allow easy removal. Power leads are bussed together so that anode and cathode are removed from power supply simultaneously. The gel tray is made from UV-transparent acrylic to enable direct reading of ethidium bromide stains. Trays are 6mm (¹/₄") thick to prevent heat distortion during application of hot agarose and are equipped with four agarose anchors to prevent gel from floating during electrophoresis.

Ordering Information: Each unit comes equipped with a UV-transparent gel tray, tapered baffles for submarine gel formation, a cooling chamber, four combs (two 2mmx26-well and two 2mmx51-well), buffer recirculation ports, platinum electrodes, a leveling base with spirit level, and a safety cover with attached power leads. The combs are formatted for use with 8- and 12-channel pipettors.
