Mini-plant reactor is useful in the manufacturing of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and such products as cremes, lotions, emulsions, liquid polymers, and mineral oils. The modular LR-2.ST system is designed to simulate and optimize chemical reaction processes, mixing, dispersion, and homogenization at a model scale. The reactor vessel can be heated up to 230°C (446°F); vacuum conditions up to 25mbar may be applied.

The system includes an overhead stirrer with microprocessor control, a stainless steel anchor stirring element with flow borings, and a 2000mL borosilicate glass reaction flask. It includes a double-walled vessel and a torque measuring device. Outfitted with an RS-232 interface for computer-controlled operation. (IKA Works L004962)
