PAPR system provides comfortable and efficient powered air protection. Ambient air is drawn through the filter cartridge, supplying filtered air through the breathing tube to the headpiece.

Assemblies include motor/blower, battery pack, belt, and flowmeter. Assembly 56221-894 is “intrinsically safe” (i.e., incapable of creating a spark or explosion). Assemblies use interchangeable cartridges/filters that protect against gases, vapors, or particulates.

Headpieces are constructed of Tychem* QC for protection from chemicals; they are available in hood, sealed-seam hood, or head cover styles. The loose-fitting hood and sealed-seem hood accommodate facial hair and glasses. The lightweight head cover is available in white or blue. Sealed-seam hood assembly 67101-162 features a built-in collar and cap suspension. Sealed-seam hood assembly 67101-164 features a built-in collar and hardhat.
