This respirator provides reliable worker protection against certain oil and non-oil based aerosols including those with nuisance levels of acid gases such as sulfur dioxide, hydrogen fluoride, and chlorine. (Nuisance level acid gas refers to concentrations not exceeding the OSHA PEL or applicable government occupational exposure limits, whichever is lower.) If oil aerosols are present, time use may be limited to 8 hours of continuous or intermittent use. Minumum filtration efficiency is 95%.

Meets NIOSH 42 CFR 84 R95 requirements. (3M 8246)
