Storage boxes are suitable for use with 0.5, 1.5, and 2.0mL microtubes, as well as most other brands of cryogenic vials. Polypropylene boxes are a few millimeters taller than other available types of storage boxes and can accommodate several sizes of cryogenic vials or tubes of similar diameters up to 53.5mm (2³/₃₂") high. Boxes can withstand temperatures from -80° to 121°C (-112 to 250°F) and, unlike cardboard boxes, will not degrade after repeated thaws. The lid has an alphanumeric grid reference to aid with sample identification. Matte surfaces on box sides are suitable for marking or labeling. The box base and lid have impressed rims for stacking. All box bases are natural color to allow visual inspection. Dimensions: 140Lx140Wx60Hmm (5¹/₂x5¹/₂x2¹¹/₃₂").
