These plates are made of 99.9% pure virgin polypropylene and are specifically designed for PCR and thermal transfer applications. Half-skirt design with A12 corner notch fits the Applied Biosystems ABI PRISM 3100 Genetic Analyzer. Ultra-thin walls accelerate heat transfer to provide shorter cycles. All plates are certified by lot number to be RNase-, DNase-, and pyrogen-free.

Optional AxyMat* silicone sealing mats are autoclavable and freezable. The standard AxyMat is pierceable and self-sealing to prevent escape of evaporated aerosols and pathogens during normal use or storage. It also features an alphanumeric grid system that corresponds to 96-well plates. The AxyMat septa mat features individual septa to allow easy penetration and to prevent sample contamination and evaporation. It is designed specifically for use with the ABI PRISM 3100 system.
