For safe stirring of flammable solvents (Class I, Group C and D) and QC testing for homogeneity or miscibility of oils, lacquers, and polymers. Safe in hazardous situations where Class I, Group C and D flammable gases or solvent vapors can produce explosive or ignitable mixtures. Stirs oils with a viscosity of 1200 centipoise at approximately 400rpm at 21.5°C (70.7°F).

Large, ceramic top plate surface accommodates vessels up to 6L. Sturdy stainless steel case has corrosion-resistant powder-coat painted surface for easy cleaning and maintenance. Built-in 1.3cm (¹/₂") conduit attachment and 45.7cm (18") long lead wire for UL-required hardwiring.

UL listed for Class I, Group C and D hazardous atmospheres containing diethyl ether, ethylene, and mixtures such as gasoline, hexane, naphtha, benzene, butane, propane, ethanol, acetone, lacquers, natural gas, or vapors with ignition temperatures above 260°C (500°F).
