Recommended for large requirement lab use and heavy-duty metal-working.

Heavy-gauge coiled heating elements are embedded in refractory plates, which are easily replaced and interchangeable. Combined layers of firebrick and back-up insulation form a 15.2cm (6") barrier. Counterbalanced bottom section of door can be lowered separately while top section remains fully closed to hold in heat. Safety switch removes power from heating elements when door is opened, for operator protection. Element is embedded in special refractory cement.
