These economical, simple-to-use units are ideal for educational use. Sample observation is enhanced by an integrated light and precision 6x lens. Heating rates are continuously adjustable with a built-in variable transformer that is adjusted manually. Aluminum casting conducts and radiates heat evenly to capillaries and thermometer.

Digital thermometer and thermocouple reduce thermal lag, making melting point determination faster. The thermometer well is 6.75mm (1/4") dia. and 76mm (3") deep.

Use of glass capillaries allows the unit to accept up to three samples simultaneously. Capillary outside diameter is 1.5-1.75mm (1/15-1/14").

Apparatus is CE marked and CSA certified.
