Chilled Reacto-Station dry baths are ideal for multiple parallel synthesis of organic compounds, as well as for combinatorial chemistry processes. Baths can also be used with autosamplers and robotic systems. The simple, manual operation combined with precise electronic control and rugged design allows for reliable and reproducible procedures. Units incorporate the most current heating technology for excellent temperature stability, precise chilling and powerful stirring of all tube positions. Units feature a soft start or ramping feature to allow slow build-up to the set speed (0 to 10 minutes). An inlet port located just above the cooled chamber prevents ice formation by driving moisture up and out through a spring loaded closure system around the test tubes. Flaps around each test tube remain closed when any tube position is vacant.
To minimize sample contamination with moisture or oxygen, all units can be fitted with a removable lid (not supplied) for purging with inert gas.
