Ideal for heating and stirring of small volumes (10 to 30mL) in combinatorial chemistry and organic synthesis applications. These manually operated units feature ten stirring positions (24 or 25mm) and an adjustable soft start (ramp) from 0 to 10 minutes to get to full set speed. Powerful magnetic stirrers located beneath each position drive a small stir bar in the test tube. Takes 15 minutes to reach maximum and minimum temperatures. Heating block is surrounded by insulation so the surrounding casework remains cool to the touch. Temperature cutout eliminates runaway conditions. LED temperature display.
