Compact systems for laboratories requiring <15L of pure water per day. Use feedwater pretreated by reverse osmosis, distillation, or deionization. Microprocessor-controlled purity monitor provides digital resistivity readings, temperature compensated to 25°C (77°F). In standby mode, water recirculates for 10 minutes every hour to maintain purity. A 0.2µm filter removes particles and bacteria at outlet.
Batch feed models are portable and feature a 7L polypropylene, filtered storage reservoir; low water pump protection; and a 0.5L/min. flow rate. Line feed models are fed from a pressurized feed line or a gravity feed storage tank and have up to 1.5L/min. flow rate. All models produce Type I water with total organic carbon (TOC) content less than 10ppb. UV models feature dual wavelength ultraviolet light (185 and 254nm) to provide water purity of below 3ppb total organic carbon and up to 18.2 megohm-cm. UF models use a 10,000 molecular weight ultrafilter to provide less than 0.001EU/mL pyrogen levels and greater than 4 log reduction of pyrogens.
