These plastic-clad microhematocrit tubes combine the precision of glass with the safety of a multi-layer Mylar* wrap. Mylar, a durable and transparent plastic, protects from exposure to blood-borne pathogens by containing glass fragments in the event of breakage, and significantly reduces sample leakage.

The 75x0.56mm pre-calibrated microhematocrit tubes (BD361027) include pre-calibrated ammonium heparin additive.
