These nonsterile, polystyrene 96-well plates are manufactured from specially formulated polystyrene and optimized for maximum protein binding with heterogeneous solid-phase assays such as ELISAs. They feature round wells with a volume of 300µL per well.

The seal-and-sample aluminum foil lids provide a unique solution for multiwell plate sealing. Made of special aluminum foil with a bioinert adhesive backing, the foil lids are presized for titer-plate sealing at temperature extremes from -80 to 130°C (-112 to 266°F). These seal-and-sample foil lids can be easily punctured by automated or manually-operated pipet tips to remove sample material from plate wells, eliminating the potential for aerosols and cross-contamination that can result when removing other types of plate-sealing lids. A rubber roller is also available for easy lid placement and to ensure complete sealing.
