Deep well plates with round wells provide 1mL nominal capacity per well. Square well plates provide 2mL nominal capacity per well and are ideal for large volume applications such as receptor binding assays. Both plates feature a 96-well format and are ideal for sample collection, compound preparation, combinatorial chemistry, high throughput screening, nucleic acid purification, bacterial culture growth, and plate replication.

Made of special aluminum foil with a bioinert adhesive backing, the foil lids are presized for titer-plate sealing at temperature extremes from -80 to 130°C (-112 to 266°F). These seal-and-sample foil lids can be easily punctured by automated or manually-operated pipet tips to remove sample material from plate wells, eliminating the potential for aerosols and cross-contamination that can result when removing other types of plate-sealing lids. A 10.2cm (4") rubber roller is also available for easy lid placement and to ensure complete sealing.
