Molded racks are useful for the safe transport and incubation of contact plates and petri dishes. They help to streamline benchtop sample processing. Rack bases are large enough to be very stable, yet small enough to preserve benchtop space. Four racks can be stacked together, and they interlock to prevent accidental knock-over. Each rack features access slots, allowing a stack of plates to be safely removed from the rack using a secure grip with a finger under the bottom plate and thumb on the lid of the top plate. A large center divider provides space for labeling and incorporates a handle that does not interfere with the samples. To maintain sterility and ensure long-term performance, all parts are molded of white polypropylene and are steam autoclavable at 121°C (250°F).
