Cans open and close automatically, protecting users from contact with the waste receptacle or its contents when disposing of waste of any kind such as biological/biohazard materials, paper trash, or recyclables. When a hand or solid object is moved over the top, the can detects the motion, opens the lid to accept waste, and then closes automatically. The lid drops into a fitted well that helps to reduce odor and airborne contamination. An on/off switch deactivates the auto-open/close function.

The 9.5L (2.5gal.) model is perfect for benchtop use and includes a removable rigid liner that won’t leak or rust. The 27.6L (7.3gal.) and 45.4L (12gal.) models have a small footprint and fit into tight spaces. Plastic models feature a removable pail molded of autoclavable polypropylene while the stainless steel model has a stainless steel pail. All models include an ABS plastic lid.
