Cryogenic vials are pre-sterilized, made from virgin polypropylene, and feature a locking base. Caps feature a long skirt for one-hand aseptic techniques. Thread design allows tightening or loosening with 11/4 turns. All containers are designed for vapor phase storage but can withstand contact with liquid phase nitrogen. Molded-in sealing ring seals contents at low temperatures for long-term storage.
Cryogenic tubes offer a smaller outside diameter and molded spin collar to allow use in standard microcentrifuge rotors, enabling the user to spin, resuspend, and freeze in the same tube. Silicone O-rings help ensure tight seal for these tubes.
