These evaporator systems are designed to provide efficient parallel concentration of large sample volumes to predefined residual volumes, while ensuring the smooth evaporation of thermosensitive compounds. The unique system design provides high recovery rates, and virtually eliminates thermal decomposition and cross-contamination. The system is ideally suited for applications in soil analysis, food processing analysis, quality control, and natural product extraction. The clear glass rack construction provides users with a constant view of the parallel evaporation process.

The system's platform provides basic functions such as shaking, heating, and cooling. A horizontal orbital movement produces a strong vortex in sample tubes, preventing bumping during operation. Temperature profiles can be preprogrammed in timed stages or manually set and adjusted.

This parallel work-up station uses three interchangeable racks to concentrate up to 12 samples down to a predefined residual volume (0.3, 1, or 3mL) per sample. The residual volume is collected in a water-cooled appendix at the bottom of the sample vessel. This unique design allows evaporation of heat-sensitive compounds under mild conditions. Sample vessels are available with or without graduated level indications. Cross-contamination is prohibited by a specially designed vacuum cover that is included with all racks. The cover can be heated to 70°C (158°F). Both condenser and receiving flask (on applicable models) feature a P+G coating. All relevant system parts are chemical-resistant and contaminant-free.
