These systems offer the means to conduct the parallel evaporation of multiple samples. Systems are designed to increase productivity in parallel and multistage synthesis, extraction, quality control, and chromatography. Even when dealing with high-boiling solvents, the system's interchangeable racks make it possible to evaporate samples that range from 0.5 to 500mL.
The system's platform provides basic functions such as shaking, heating, and cooling. A horizontal orbital movement produces a strong vortex in sample tubes, preventing bumping during operation. Temperature profiles can be preprogrammed in timed stages or manually set and adjusted. All systems are equipped with a P+G-coated tap water condenser, as well as the option of a 1L or 2L P+G-coated round receiving flask.
The varied and exchangeable rack formats provide maximum flexibility in both sample volume and sample numbers. Racks are available in formats of 4, 6, 12, 24, 48, and 96 in a variety of volumes. Each rack is supplied with its own PFA-coated aluminum lid with individual vacuum connections. This design, combined with the use of inert materials, prevents cross-contamination. To prevent condensation, covers can be heated to 70°C (158°F).
High-pressure solvent extractions (PSE or ASE) provide a large number of samples in a short time frame. An evaporator with a PSE, ASE rack (89035-992, 89036-010) can evaporate 24 samples simultaneously, sustaining a high sample throughput in routine analysis. Likewise, chromatography workflow can be significantly increased by simultaneous evaporation of multiple samples.
