Systems are designed for protein gels and can be adapted for short sequencing runs. Dual gel systems allow two gels to be run simultaneously under identical buffer conditions. The adjustable upper buffer reservoir rides on Delrin* rods and is held in place by two stainless steel hand screws. The soft high-grade silicone gasket on the upper reservoir prevents buffer leakage during electrophoresis. Safety covers on the upper and lower reservoirs have attached power leads and are easily removed with a counter-balance push button. Leak-free gel casting is accomplished using the patented Gel Wrap* system.
