The adjustable upper buffer reservoir rides on Delrin* rods and is held in place by two stainless steel hand screws. The soft high-grade silicone gasket on the upper reservoir prevents buffer leakage during electrophoresis. Safety covers on the upper and lower reservoirs have attached power leads and are easily removed with a counter-balance push button. Leak-free gel casting is accomplished using the patented Gel Wrap* system.
