These nucleic acid sequencers are adjustable to accommodate plates with path lengths from 22cm up to the maximum length of the unit. Available in two widths for either the Sanger-Coulson (20cm; 77/8") or Maxam-Gilbert (33cm; 13") sequencing method.
Features a rotating base that allows the unit to swivel, providing easy access to both sides. Both upper and lower reservoirs have drains with tubing adapters and safety covers with attached leads. Reservoirs are easily detached for disposal of radioactive buffer solutions or routine cleaning. The upper reservoir is divided in half, providing flexibility by allowing the researcher to run independent buffer conditions on each side. Each sequencer includes a leveling base with bubble level, safety-tip power leads, and a leakproof silicone gasket on upper reservoir to which glass plates are clamped.
