Designed for a single run or multiple simultaneous short runs. Tapered baffles allow submarine gel formation, and buffer recirculation ports allow easy maintenance and reduce buffer changes. The platinum electrode is shielded from the buffer to protect the electrode and provide a uniform field across the width of the gel. The UV transparent gel trays are 6mm (1/4") thick, preventing heat distortion during application of hot agarose. Safety features include a safety cover with interlocking power leads and safety tip power leads.
