Units are supplied with solid BD Vacutainer* stoppers for variable tube sizes. Stoppers may be punched with a cork borer to fit tube gel diameters between 1mm and 7mm. Much of the platinum wire is enclosed inside a central power core for protection from breakage. The white central power core provides contrast to enhance dye band visibility. The lower buffer chamber is surrounded by a cooling jacket for efficient temperature control. An interlocking safety cover is provided on the upper reservoir.
