Hot Wire Anemometer with a miniature glass bead thermistor provides greater precision at low air velocities. Eliminates friction errors caused by rotating vanes. Ideal for controlled environments. Unit features five air velocity measuring ranges. Memory function recalls the high/low readings. A data hold button freezes the display to capture readings. A serial RS-232 output allows for connection to a computer or data logger for monitoring results.

A serial numbered certificate is provided from an ISO 17025 calibration laboratory to indicate instrument traceability to standards provided by the National Institute of Standards and Technology.

The data acquisition system accessory includes PC cable and software for display/download of readings directly to your computer. The system is supplied with 91.4cm (36") serial cable with D9F computer plug, 3¹/₂" diskette, and four AA alkaline batteries. The data logger accessory captures and stores up to 8000 readings in the field which may be downloaded later to any PC for viewing. Readings may be taken at intervals from 1 second to 99 hours. Data files can also be read by spreadsheets, databases, and statistical programs. Data logger dimensions: 12.7Hx7.6Wx2.5Dcm (5x3x1"). Data logger weight: 198.5g (7oz.).
