Station utilizes a unique closed loop method of controlling maximum tip temperature, in order to protect temperature-sensitive components. A ferromagnetic temperature sensor in the tip controls tip temperature automatically, making manual adjustments unnecessary. ESD-safe to protect sensitive components.

Station consists of power unit, 42W soldering iron, and stand with sponge. Power unit is made of durable, impact-resistant plastic. Quick disconnect plug for soldering iron allows fast iron change.
