May be used in bacteriological work as an anaerobic culture jar, where the low height allows for placement in an incubator. The rugged ST 55/38 sleeve, with tooled hose connection, serves as the stopcock and is designed so that its manipulation is not affected by the vacuum. Tubulation O.D. is approximately 10mm. Rated 1atm vacuum.

Note: For ease in use and improved performance, it is recommended that the ST sleeve be lubricated with a silicone-based vacuum grease.
