These nonsterile polypropylene microplates, compatible with most thermal cyclers, feature rigid design for handling by robotic instrumentation. Plates are 100% tested for well integrity. Each plate has 96 wells with a total well volume of 200µL and an average working volume of 25-50µL. Thin, uniform walls ensure efficient heat transfer while minimizing well-to-well variability. For convenience in low-throughput applications, each 96-well plate can be cut into four 3x8-well strips. Certified free of DNase and RNase.

Aluminum sealing tape is recommended for applications requiring puncturing and hot starts on thermal cyclers. Can be removed easily without ripping or tearing. Thermowell silicone rubber sealing mats are easily applied and removed, fully autoclavable, and reusable at least five times. They provide 100% sealing when used in conjunction with clamp- or screw-down, heated-lid thermal cyclers. Mats can be used for applications such as hot starts on thermal cyclers.
