Bags protect sensitive components and assemblies from static- and moisture-induced damage. To prevent moisture penetration, these bags feature five layers: a polyester layer placed between two aluminum shielding layers, which are covered with two static-dissipative film layers (polyethylene on the inside of the bag and polyester on the outside). All bags have integral static-dissipative properties, which are not humidity-dependent and will never wear off. Low tribocharging properties prevent bag contents from becoming electrostatically charged during movement. Bags maintain the Faraday Cage effect.

Bags are lot coded to provide quality control traceability. Bags are polycarbonate compatible; contain no amines, amides, or N-octanoic acid; and meet the requirements of ANSI/ESD S20.20, MIL-PRF-81705D, EIA-541, EIA-583, EIA-625, MIL-1686, and EOS/ESD standards.
