Measure and record concentrations of CO, CO₂, formaldehyde, and ozone on the spot with Chip Measurement System (CMS) Analyzer. Kit includes analyzer, four chemical-specific chips, and a nylon transport case. Electronic-based analyzer features an LCD that displays concentration data and a data recorder that stores up to 50 measurements. No gas calibration required; unit performs a self-test every time it is switched on. Instructions appear on display as soon as chip is inserted; procedure is the same for every chip. Results can be delivered as quickly as 20 seconds or in 1-2 minutes for TWA and action levels. Higher concentrations are reported faster than trace background levels.

Each chip consists of 10 multi-layered capillaries filled with substance-specific reagent systems. Batch number and barcode contain information required for completing each measurement. Chips are calibrated during manufacturing and remain valid for two years.

Nylon transport case is equipped with space for additional chips. Case is lightweight, padded, and includes shoulder strap and carrying handle.
