This lightweight, battery-powered unit accepts plastic or glass pipets from 1 to 100mL. With a rechargeable NiMH battery built into its handle, the Portable Pipet-Aid device can be used continuously for eight hours, pipetting over 2000 times without recharging. Battery recharges overnight. Filters are quickly and easily replaced.

Unit features a locking tissue culture filter which helps eliminate cross-contamination due to overpipetting. The nosepiece incorporates a dual hydrophilic, hydrophobic 0.8µm filter which provides a barrier to 0.1µm particles. It prevents further use once contaminated by fluid. Work can be rapidly resumed following filter replacement and nosepiece decontamination.
