This active gauge controller (AGC) can drive any combination of three Edwards active gauges, including: thermocouple, pirani, inverted magnetron, and ion gauges. Two or more heads which operate for particular pressure ranges may be linked to protect high vacuum gauges from damage, and to give continuous pressure readout on the same display line.
Controller features triple displays, six solid state switches rated at 40VDC and 100Ma, and includes an RS-232 interface.
The ACG automatically identifies each gauge head type when it is plugged into the controller. Control functions are set using a simple menu system. Functions are retained after switching off the power.
