Pumps are designed to provide vacuum totally free of lubricants. Ideal for use with scanning electron microscopes, ion implanters, turbomolecular pumps, loadlocks, leak detectors, and hermetic systems, and for sputtering, surface analysis, lamp/tube evacuation, and general-purpose laboratory dry vacuum applications. Bearings are completely isolated from the vacuum so lubrication fluid is not subject to attack by process vapors, with no risk of back migration of oil or fluid into the vacuum area. Controllable gas ballast makes pumps equal to rotary vane pumps in handling vapor loads.
Pumps are portable, air-cooled, and feature special seals to reduce wear, improve reliability, and extend life. Lightweight hard anodized aluminum construction. Low vibration and low noise levels, typically less than 55dBA, make pumps ideal for laboratory use.
Standard pumps feature a plastic outlet connection while chemical-resistant pumps come with a stainless steel outlet connection.
