Off-white solid. PROTECT FROM LIGHT. PACKAGED UNDER INERT GAS. A potent and specific inhibitor of the protein kinase c-Raf (IC₅₀ = 70 nM). Inhibits c-Raf with ten-fold increased potency compared to B-Raf, but does not inhibit many other protein kinases (even at 50 mM) with the exception of SAPK2a/p38a (IC₅₀ = 2 mM) and SAPK2b/p38b2 (IC₅₀ = 2 mM). The inhibition of c-Raf by ZM 336372 is competitive with respect to ATP. Purity: ³95% by HPLC.
