Maxitips are designed for use with the Eppendorf Maxipettor repeating pipettor (see 53512-930).

Maxitip “P” (positive displacement) comes complete with piston and barrel. Recommended for most liquids including viscous solutions. Sterile tips are individually wrapped in RNase-, ATP-, DNase-, pyrogen-, and NACP-free certified Eppendorf Biopur packaging; nonsterile tips are bagged.

Maxitip “S” (air displacement) allows easy access to bottles or narrow-neck vessels. Recommended for dispensing liquids with high vapor pressure or high density.

A graduated Maxitip “G” attaches in place of Maxitip “S” and is used as a reference for proper volume adjustment when pipetting nonaqueous liquids. Barrels with pistons are required for the Maxitip “S” and “G” tips and are available separately. Optional valves also are available for Maxitip “S” and “G” to eliminate dripping caused by reagents with high vapor pressure.
