Wipers are made from a fully cross-linked, naturally hydrophillic polyurethane foam and laundered with a proprietary process in an ISO Class 4 (FED-STD-209E Class 10/M2.5) environment. They are engineered specifically to minimize contaminants released from the wiper while maximizing the amount of particulates and residue removed from surfaces. UltraSORB wipers also offer outstanding wet tensile strength and abrasion resistance.
Wipers are particle-trapping, abrasion-resistant, thermally stable, solvent-resistant, nonpyrogenic, and feature a sponge-like feel and softness, making them suitable for the wipedown of ISO Class 3 and Class 4 (FED-STD-209E Class 1/M1.5 and Class 10/M2.5) cleanrooms, optical surfaces, and hot and aseptic fill areas.
UltraSORB foam has a 3lb./ft3 density.
