These oil-free, two-stage diaphragm pumps are ideal to use with a rotary evaporator for stripping high boiling-point solvents such as DMF (boiling point should be <160°C) or low boiling-point solvents such as methylene chloride using the vacuum regulator. The automatic self-cleaning fresh-air purge rids the pump of unwanted residue after every run, prolonging the membrane life span.

Pumps are resistant to chemical attack, even from the most aggressive vapors, and contain fluorinated plastics on all wetted surfaces, including the diaphragm and valves. Pumps feature a glass inlet separator to prevent the ingesting of liquid and particulate contaminants, a gas ballast/vent switch to minimize vapor condensation when pumping heavy vapor loads, and an exhaust separator that collects any liquid droplets or particulates flushed from the pump during the purge cycle.

Each system also includes a vacuum regulator, easy-to-read gauge, and intake and exhaust capture jars. Pumps are CSA certified.
