These preassembled filtration devices remove particulates from samples, replacing syringe-coupled filtration devices with single, disposable units. Autovial filters are comprised of a 5mL capacity filter barrel and a plunger. They feature an integral filter, built-in air purge, and a support stand that protects the recessed male Luer slip tip. Autoclavable at 121°C (250°F) for 20 minutes.

Available with a variety of filter media. Use glass microfiber membranes for viscous or high debris samples containing aqueous or organic solvents with a pH range of 3-10. Use nylon membranes when filtering samples containing aqueous or organic solvents with a pH range of 3-10. Use PTFE membranes for samples containing more than 50% organic solvent. Use low nonspecific protein binding PVDF membranes for aqueous solutions and for samples containing less than 60% organic solvent or aqueous/organic solvents. All membranes are nonsterile.
