Amersham ECL protein biotinylation module/system is a complete system for protein biotinylation and detection using streptavidin-HRP and ECL reagents. The system is also for labeling of antibodies or other proteins in solution, for use in Western blotting and immunoprecipitation experiments, and for labeling cell-surface molecules and total protein detection on blots. The conjugate recognizes multiple epitopes of GST and therefore is not reliant on functional GST for fusion protein detection. Detection of ECL signal on Hyperfilm ECL provides a permanent record.
