Achieve precise and accurate separation quickly and easily right on the benchtop. The system uses Amerlex*-M reagent and a magnetic base plate to separate samples in 20 minutes. The Amerlex-M reagent is designed for use in immunoassays where the primary antibody is of rabbit origin. It is made up of magnetizable, donkey anti-rabbit coated beads in a ready-to-use buffer solution. The reagent is added to samples in assay tubes and the tubes are placed in the rack on a magentic plate and simply left to sit. The system allows for a gentler separation than centrifugation; however, a protocol is included that allows for the use of Amerlex-M in centrifugation as well.
