These precast gels contain preformed, immobilized, non-drifting pH gradients and provide reproducible IEF separations. The gels are rehydrated to a thickness of 0.5mm (0.020") in the reswelling cassette accessory before use. The Immobiline design produces an absolutely stable pH gradient, allowing extremely high voltages and high resolution over narrow pH ranges, even for low-mobility proteins that require long focusing times. Mechanically stable, plastic-backed gels are easy to handle. Choose from narrow (1 pH unit) and medium (3 pH units) pH ranges. Store gels at -20°C (4°F). Dimensions: 245x110mm (9²¹/₃₂x4⁵/₁₆").
