The variable speed, variable temperature shaker is ideal for applications requiring heating and shaking in microcentrifuge tubes. The block construction and the powerful heating mechanism produce rapid heating for swift change of application, and high flexibility and throughput. Shaker is compact with a small footprint. The quiet motor produces regulated and reproducible rotation throughout the speed range, with uniform amplitude throughout the shaking platform. Soft-start feature reduces splashing of vessel contents. Shaking may be configured for continuous or timed operation. A two-line setup and status display clearly indicate both set and actual values for speed, temperature, and time. Speed is adjustable in 10rpm increments. Suitable for use in cold rooms; shaker accommodates a -10 to 60°C (14 to 140°F), 80% relative humidity, noncondensing environment.

One of the two available heating blocks is required for operation. Heating blocks are interchangeable. The 20-tube block holds 1.5 or 2mL microtubes; the 32-tube block holds twenty 0.5mL and twelve 1.5 or 2mL microtubes.
