For the electroporation of adherent cells in situ or as an alternative to cuvette electroporation. Use of the electrode eliminates the need for trypsinization or mechanical removal of cells from their growth substrate. Designed to fit into each single well of a 6-well plate or an individual 35mm diameter petri dish. Consists of an electrode assembly embedded in a polyurethane holder with high voltage electrode cables. The thin electrodes are gold-plated and designed to maximize the surface area of electroporation. Applicator may be cleaned with mild detergent. Electrode may be sterilized with ethanol and dried with acetone. Number of electrodes: 13.

Applicator may be used with electroporators 58018-004, 58017-932, and 58017-984. (BTX 45-0130)

Note: The Pulser unit contains the Petri dish electrode. A separate Petri dish electrode is not supplied with the unit.
