Rocking shakers feature gentle up and down motion for cultivating cell cultures and staining/destaining gels. Designed for the homogeneous mixing of substances in flasks, media bottles, or large vessels without creating undesirable disturbances. Models are available with platform tilt angles of 5 or 10°.

Units feature timed or continuous operation modes. A process timer allows for unattended operation up to 999 minutes and sends an acoustic signal upon completion. Enclosed housing ensures virtually no heat transfer from motor to platform, and the unit will self-reset to protect against overheating. Units also have analog dial control of rocking frequency. The maintenance-free, balanced, sealed drive system is isolated from spills, which makes the units ideal for use in cold rooms.

The tension roller attachment (82004-976) features two rollers to facilitate the shaking of Erlenmeyer flasks and a piece that enables attachment to the perforated platform. The separatory funnel attachment (82004-980) holds up to four separatory funnels (50mL, conical) or separatory flasks (100mL, conical).

Shakers meet the standards of protection class IP 40 (DIN 40050).

Ordering Information: Manufacturer's three-year unconditional warranty. Units include a nonskid rubber mat and a 29x25.8cm (117/16x103/16") platform. Duomax shakers may be combined with the model 1000 incubator (82005-012) to create a system with reproducible temperature control.
