Long-lasting (up to five years), graphite-filled, PTFE-coated vacuum seal between drive and vapor tube provides leak-free, greaseless operation. Drive motor is quiet, brushless, sparkless, and maintenance-free. Rotary drive is electronically controlled. Large bore 24/40 vapor tube has a 2.5cm (1") diameter for faster distillations. Vapor tube is also nonstick for easy removal and to eliminate broken glass. Quick-release flask ejector expels any flask that may become stuck. Easily adjustable flask height and angle. Heating bath is constructed of an insulated double wall and features nonslip safety handles to prevent scalding. It features large dial controls for bath temperature and rotation speed. Bath handles, insulated bath, quick release vapor tube, unique manual lift, and plastic-coated glass protect users from scalding and broken glass, as well as to reduce chemical spills. In addition to a programmable timer that can terminate distillation, evaporators feature three programmable distillation modes: auto-temperature, constant-pressure, and auto-pressure.

The Rotavac valve control pump has a suction capacity of 1.7m³ for up to three evaporators simultaneously, and can achieve an ultimate vacuum of 9mbar. The VAC control automatic vacuum controller is used to control the vacuum source and features displays for actual, set vacuum, and operating mode. Features include a process timer that allows for unattended operation, vacuum sensor, and exhaust valve. The vacuum valve connects the evaporator to the pump and allows easy adjustment of vacuum pressure. The condensate cooler valve control includes a bracket and 250mL collecting flask. The switchbox connects up to three rotary evaporators to one pump and controller individually.
