Multiple evaporator systems are ideal for the simultaneous evaporation or concentration of up to twenty-four 10-50mL samples. The quick heat-up time ensures high distillation rates. A temperature sensor, positioned in the reaction vessel, provides precise temperature control and reproducible results.
Synthesis 1 base units provide exceptional visual control of the reaction and easy access to all samples due to the revolving, circular design of the reaction block. Units can be easily configured for many different applications. Solid construction ensures exceptional stability and smooth, constant shaking. Features include electronic speed control, an integrated collection tray for dripping condensate, and an RS-232 interface port.
Reaction blocks may be set to four different reaction temperatures in their four heating zones. Reaction blocks are supplied with reaction vessels and a vacuum distributor. The elastic reaction block elements ensure that the vessels will not rattle. Glass reaction vessels feature standard threads, a valve and connection for vacuum and inert atmosphere, and PTFE-coated septa. Sensor 89000-046 is for reaction blocks with 12 or 16 reaction vessels and is 170mm (611/16") long. Sensor 83007-312 is for reaction blocks with 24 reaction vessels and is 135mm (55/16") long. The hinged guard hood provides added safety and ensures constant sample temperature.
Ordering Information: The complete system includes a Synthesis 1 base unit, liquid reaction block and vessels, guard hood, four sensors for sample temperature measuring, a tube connection for vacuum and inert atmosphere, and a Synthesis 1 glassware set. Synthesis 1 base units include a reaction block and vessels. An additional condensation zone allows for the refluxing of solvents; optional chiller required.
