For vigorous shaking of microtiter plates. Shakers are designed for continuous use and feature a sparkless, maintenance-free motor. Units feature timed or continuous operation modes. Process timer allows for unattended operation for up to 120 minutes and sends an acoustic signal upon completion. Enclosed housing ensures virtually no heat transfer from motor to platform, and the unit will self-reset to protect against overheating. Units also have analog dial control of vibration frequency.

Models 100 and 1000 feature a small vibration orbit of 1.5mm (¹/₁₆") to prevent contamination even with full wells. Model 101 features a larger vibration orbit of 3mm (¹/₈") for best mixing results even with small quantities. Models 100 and 101 accommodate up to four microtiterplates, and model 1000 accommodates up to six microtiterplates.

The Titramax package combines the model 1000 vibrating shaker with an incubator for complete shaking, mixing, and heating applications. Also included is a low, flat incubator hood with a total height of 163mm (6⁷/₁₆"). Hoods are manufactured from transparent, non-fogging PETG material for easy viewing. Packages are available in 115V electrical capacities.

Models 100 and 101 meet the standards of protection class IP 30 (DIN 40050), and model 1000 meets the standards of protection class IP 40 (DIN 40050).
