These orbital shakers provide the swirling action needed for the cultivation of microorganisms and cell or tissue cultures. Designed for use with culture plates and Erlenmeyer flasks (<=1000mL). Shakers are designed for continuous use and feature a sparkless, maintenance-free motor. Units feature timed or continuous operation modes. Digital process timer allows for unattended operation up to 999 minutes and sends an acoustic signal upon completion. Enclosed housing ensures virtually no heat transfer from motor to platform, and the unit will self-reset to protect against overheating. Units also have analog dial control of vibration frequency. The maintenance-free, balanced, sealed drive system is isolated from spills, which makes the units ideal for use in cold rooms.

The Unimax package combines the model 1010 orbital shaker with an incubator for complete shaking, mixing, and heating applications. Also included is a high-profile incubator hood with a total height of 267mm (10¹/₂"). Hoods are manufactured from transparent, non-fogging PETG material for easy viewing. Packages are available in 115V electrical capacity.

The separatory funnel attachment (82004-980) holds up to four separatory funnels (50mL, conical) or separatory flasks (100mL, conical). Tension roller attachment (82004-976 and -986) feature two rollers to facilitate the shaking of Erlenmeyer flasks and a piece that enables attachment to the perforated platform. The basic tension roller frame (82004-984) contains all the necessary pieces to construct a frame, but no tension rollers. Clamps for Erlenmeyer flasks and separatory funnels consist of the clamp and a piece that enables attachment to the perforated platform.

Model 1010 meets the standards of protection class IP 40 (DIN 40050). Model 2010 meets the standards of protection class IP 20 (DIN 40050).

Ordering Information: Manufacturer's three-year warranty. Units include a nonskid rubber mat. Model 1010 includes a 29x25.8cm (11³/₈x10¹/₈") platform; model 2010 includes a 39x34cm (15³/₈x13³/₈") platform. The model 1000 incubator (82005-012) may be ordered separately, or included in a Unimax package to create a system with reproducible temperature control.
