HyClone’s BioProcess Container systems are specifically engineered for use in biotechnology and pharmaceutical research and production processes. Applications include waste collection, bioreactor and fermentation feed and harvest, transport and storage of bulk intermediate product, and formulation and filling of sterile media, buffers, and other process liquids.

Their three-dimensional design achieves optimal filling and conforms better to support containers than traditional pillow-style bags. Each disposable container minimizes the risk of cross-contamination and reduces cleanup and turnaround time in the laboratory. These containers are outfitted with two to five ports and are available in a top- or bottom-dispensing design. Containers 82013-442, -716, -466, -456, -718, and -470 are top-dispensing and containers 82013-460, -450, -462, and -464 are bottom-dispensing.

Systems are constructed of HyQ* CX5-14 film, a medical-grade film that is animal-derived and component-free. The result is a container highly compatible with a wide range of buffers and process liquids that exhibits outstanding tensile properties, low gas permeability, and low profile of leachable compounds.
